Weatherstock 2011

Goldenstar of Casual Stroll to Mordor interviewed the band as we
prepared for Weatherstock 2011 . . .

With Weatherstock coming up soon, I thought it would be fun to feature the bands participating in this year’s festival. Let everyone have a little background on the group before listening to their performance on June 18th.
Today’s post we are featuring the group Breakfast Club, the Landroval version of the band known as Second Breakfast on Crickhollow.

How long have you been together as a band?
Over on Crickhollow, several of us have played together since October. This will be our first performance on Landroval, and first at Weatherstock.

What sort of music do you play?
Well, we have a wide variety. We are primarily the hobbit-y type, so whatever happens to strike our fancy. But be on the lookout for something bouncy and fun.

What is your “theme”?
Hmmm…Not sure we have one. Maybe Pie for All! *grins*

Have you ever been at Weatherstock before?
No. We are expecting it to be a fabulous time. Really looking forward to it.

Are you all in a kin or just get together for the band?
We are in a kin, both on Landroval (Breakfast Club), and our home server Crickhollow (Second Breakfast)

Any songwriters or transcribers in your band?
We have had in the past, but not currently for this event.

What inspires you to make music in LOTRO?
We enjoy many aspects of the game. And music is a great way to get together and have fun. That’s primarily what we’re all about! Dance, Music, Food, Ale, and Pipeweed.

Do you make music in real life as well?
Ummm…not any that we would want to share.

Who designed your uniform?
Fate and the generosity of those on Landroval. *grins*

Any particular strategy you plan to employ to wow the crowd?
Be our cute little lovable selves. And if that doesn’t work, we’ll just sic Buddy on ‘em. *giggles*
